From the Alder Shaker collection’s Executive Home Office line, this unit is made of high quality American alder wood which ensures a lifetime of durability and use. The difference between this desk and the modular one we sell is this desk has trim at the top that overhangs the side. The modular desk is flush on its sides. The flat top is perfect for a student or professional to use as a spacious working area. The roomy drawers can be used to file papers, store miscellaneous items, and much more. The bottom file drawer can be used configured for either letter or legal size files. The drawers are all English dovetailed and glide full-extension ball bearing rolling glides. The top sides and drawers faces are all produced out of Alder cut in a plank configuration where the grain runs the full length of the desk. There are leveling feet on the bottoms of the unit so you can adjust for an uneven surface. This desk is made in the USA and available unfinished or custom Amish finished (your pick of wood, brushed nickel, or antique bronze knobs) in your choice of stain.
